LONG LIVE THE 34TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE INVINCIBLE AND VICTORIOUS PEOPLE'S WAR IN PERU!

The Communist Party of Peru, once reconstituted as a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, Gonzalo Thought Party of a new type, under the Great Leadership, and personal leadership, of Chairman Gonzalo, initiated the people's war in Peru on May 17, 1980, with which under the leadership of the Party, the Peruvian proletariat and people, as part of the international proletariat and peoples of the world, we became protagonists of history—conscious, organized, armed protagonists—and the great rupture was achieved and the future began to be made, the communist revolution.
The people's war began in 1980, to not be detained for a single minute until we all reach communism; today we understand the dimension that corresponds to it, in this great moment only Chairman Gonzalo, glancing decades ahead penetrated its great historical significance.

We, in the name of the Peru People's Movement, the generated organ of the Communist Party of Peru for the work abroad, express on this solemn occasion of the celebration of the XXXIV Anniversary of the people's war, our exultant greeting and unconditional, conscious and voluntary subjection to our Great Leadership, Chairman Gonzalo, Great Leader of the Party and the revolution, who has defined Marxism-Leninism-Maoism as the third, new and superior stage of the development of our ideology, who creatively applying it to our concrete reality, has given us Gonzalo Thought, he is the greatest Marxist-Leninist-Maoist living on the face of the Earth, center of party unification and guarantee of triumph who brings us to communism; to our almighty ideology, Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, Gonzalo Thought, mainly Gonzalo Thought, almighty because it is true; to the heroic combatant, the Communist Party of Peru, which leads the people's war and to its system of leadership: the Central Committee, Political Bureau and Standing Committee. We greet our People's Liberation Army, backbone of the New Power, without which our people would have nothing.

The general crisis of imperialism sharpens day by day creating magnificent conditions for the world proletarian revolution. The peoples rise up and the proletariat and the masses of the whole world struggle against this rotten and decadent system. They are organized and combat, its highest expression being the people's war in Peru led by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Peru. The hegemonic gendarme Yankee superpower and the imperialist powers in collusion and contention are preparing a new world war and a new repartition of the world, dreaming of escaping the crisis and trying to reorganize imperialism according to the interests of the victorious power(s). In turn, the imperialist powers, while they apply their genocidal policy, try to stop the revolution by any means.

It is principally due to the influence of the People's War in Peru that Maoism is taken up by millions of proletarians and oppressed of the world and that Nepal began the people's war, following the steps of the PCP, a people's war that was later betrayed by the revisionist leaders of Nepal headed by Prachanda. Concretely with the detention of Chairman Gonzalo the RIM entered into ideological problems and was taken over by the new revisionism, converting itself into a bureaucratic apparatus that was dedicated only to sending greetings to armed struggles. It talked of Maoism, but what it did was attack Maoism, Chairman Gonzalo and Gonzalo Thought, claiming he was the author of the “peace letters”. They attacked Chairman Gonzalo since he was the one who had defined Maoism as the new, third and superior stage of the communist ideology; furthermore, he had defined the current historical stage, the sweeping of imperialism from the face of the Earth. When attacking him, what these vile criminals aimed for was, concretely, to be effective collaborators with imperialism's plan to isolate the people's war in Peru, a plan they continue to apply today.
The new revisionism headed by Avakian and Prachanda is led principally by Yankee imperialism with the objective of remaining the sole gendarme. That is why they apply and defend the “imperialist plan of peace accords”, to ruin the reputation of Maoism, to spread their revisionism behind the label of “there are not conditions” or “imperialism is strong”; that capitalism is a step forward in the colonial and semi-colonial countries, an intermediate stage that would prepare the conditions for the proletarian revolution. An old bunch of hot air intended to place the masses under a non-proletarian leadership: of imperialism and of one faction of the big bourgeoisie.

Paraphrasing the Great Lenin (The State and Revolution), we can openly affirm that the distortion and silencing of the question of the attitude of the proletarian revolution, of the people's war, of the PCP’s significance as vanguard of the world revolution, cannot but play an immense role of class treason, precisely at a time when states, which possess a military apparatus expanded as a consequence of imperialist rivalry, turn into military monsters which are exterminating millions of people in order to settle the issue as to who will rule the world.

What is clear and certain is that the perspective for the communists and revolutionaries is magnificent. The sharpening of the contest between the imperialist powers opens flanks for the revolution. While Yankee imperialism desperately strives to remain the hegemonic gendarme, China and Russia in their dispute over ruling the world are left with no option but to develop fascism and genocide. Therefore the story about a multipolar world is only intended to serve the interests of a more fascist and genocidal imperialism like the Chinese, with its special economic zones, or where the state even says how many children you can have. This is imperialism in its most genocidal and parasitic phase.
The new revisionism works to contain every initiation of people's war or to derail it from taking power with “peace accords”. With the tale about the “strength of Yankee imperialism” and “multipolarity”, in reality the objective is to impose a more genocidal and fascist imperialism like the Chinese, which has brought exploitation of the proletariat and the peasantry in China to its maximum expression.

To maintain itself, imperialism needs the peoples to be buried in revisionism in order to continue carrying out its wars of plunder and to contain the revolution.

This is the role of the new revisionism, to hinder, to contain the spread of Maoism, the reconstitution of Maoist communist parties, militarized for initiating people's war. Why do old elements that used to call themselves Maoists no longer do so? Why did they say that they took up Maoism? To obstruct and divide, to serve imperialism and reaction and so that Maoism does not lead the new wave of the world proletarian revolution. That is why revisionism is the main danger for the revolution, because it is the enemy that attacks from inside our ranks, creating confusion, obstructing every two-line struggle, using personal attacks, gossip and rumors, the people's war of Peru led by the CC of the PCP being the main target of these wretches.

In Peru the ROL and the LOL, in service of imperialism, mainly Yankee, together with imperialism and reaction have tried to annihilate the people's war and its General Staff, the CC of the PCP, unsuccessfully. The PCP stays the course, loyal to principles, expanding the mass work, creatively applying Gonzalo Thought to the new conditions and setting the course for the international proletariat and the peoples of the world developing the people's war more. Combating the external enemies, imperialism and reaction, and the internal ones, the new revisionism.
